What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level / junior AI role for candidates who want hands‑on experience building ML and data solutions using Python and deep learning frameworks. You'll work with engineers and data teams to develop, test, and deploy models and data pipelines that support production features.

• Build, train, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning models using Python (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar).
• Implement data preprocessing and ETL pipelines to prepare training and inference data.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to productionize models (containerization, CI/CD, monitoring).
• Write clean, well-documented code and unit tests; participate in code reviews.
• Assist with model evaluation, A/B testing, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot data and model issues and communicate findings with stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent experience — recent grads encouraged.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals (classification, regression, evaluation metrics).
• Hands-on experience with at least one deep learning framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
• Basic experience with data manipulation tools (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
• Ability to work on a team, accept feedback, and learn quickly.

Preferred skills (nice to have)

• Experience with model deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) or cloud ML services.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts (ETL, streaming, data warehouses).
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
• Coursework or projects in computer vision, NLP, or advanced ML topics.

• Location: Kansas City, MO (on-site / local) — this role will be based in Kansas City, Missouri.
• Employment type: Full‑time.
• Estimated compensation: $159,042 per year (employer estimate).
• Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
