What You’ll Do
The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable, reconciliations, and general ledger support. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career who wants hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Support the accounts payable process: invoice review and coding, payment preparation, vendor account maintenance, and resolution of routine vendor inquiries.
- Maintain accurate AP documentation and coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving and other teams to ensure timely invoice processing.
- Prepare and post basic general ledger entries and assist with bank and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Support month-end close tasks: prepare simple schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with inventory and cost accounting activities as assigned.
- Support internal and external audit requests and maintain organized accounting records.
- Learn and use the company’s ERP and accounting systems; provide general support to the Accounting team as responsibilities expand.
- Complete other accounting tasks as assigned.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Willingness and ability to learn ERP and accounting systems
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities
- Motivated to learn and grow within the accounting function
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Entry-level role — prior professional accounting experience is not required
- Internship, co-op, or coursework with accounting exposure is a plus
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Other Details
- Employment type: Full-time (Contractor classification may apply per posting)
- Work environment: Primarily office-based with occasional visits to the manufacturing floor
- Physical demands: Primarily sedentary; occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional extended hours or weekend support as needed
