Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Junior Accountant — Accounts Payable for a full-time, on-site role in Miami, FL. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (completed or near completion) who want hands-on experience in tax, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounts payable within a CPA firm environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
- Assist with accounts payable processes: invoice entry, vendor communications, and reconciliations
- Perform monthly and quarterly bookkeeping tasks and journal entries
- Support preparation of financial statements and standard reports
- Assist in preparing individual and corporate tax returns under supervision
- Help with sales tax filings and support audits and special projects as needed
- Communicate with clients to gather documentation and clarify accounting information
- Learn and apply accounting regulations and firm processes during busy seasons
Qualifications (Must-Have)
These qualifications are required to be considered for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (completed or near completion)
- 0–1 year of accounting experience, including internships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and Word
- Fluency in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience or coursework focused on accounting, public accounting, or finance

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reconciliations and data entry
- Good organization and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
- Adaptability to learn new accounting software and tools quickly
- Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration
