Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Jr. Targeting Analyst with an active TS/SCI security clearance to support intelligence and targeting operations at a government facility in Dulles Town Center, VA. This is an entry-level, full-time, onsite role that may require shift work including nights. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with intelligence tools and multi-source analysis and the ability to support operational planning and briefing preparation.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct research and multi-source analysis to identify and assess potential high-value targets.
• Support development of targeting packages, analytic reports, and briefings for operational and senior leadership audiences.
• Use advanced analytical tools and intelligence databases (e.g., Palantir, Analyst’s Notebook, TAC, SIGINT toolsets) to track adversary activity and refine assessments.
• Assist with prioritizing collection requirements and support collection management.
• Collaborate with intelligence community (IC) partners, federal law enforcement, and other stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable intelligence.
• Help validate source credibility and reliability; document analytic tradecraft and maintain detailed records of findings.
• Identify patterns, trends, and emerging threats that affect mission objectives and contribute to operational planning and execution.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain and retain a CBP Background Investigation (or other required federal background check).
• Proficiency with intelligence tools and methodologies (examples: Palantir, Analyst’s Notebook, TAC, SIGINT tools).
• Willingness and ability to work fully onsite at a government facility in Dulles Town Center, VA; may include night shifts.

Desired:

• Active DHS suitability or prior CBP background investigation.
• Familiarity with GEOINT, SIGINT, or HUMINT tradecraft.
• Prior military or government experience in targeting or intelligence operations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range (Virginia, pay transparency): USD $60,000.00 — USD $75,000.00 per year.
• Confidential Client offers a competitive benefits package that may include medical, dental, retirement savings plans, flexible spending/health savings accounts, life and disability insurance, and paid time off. Specific benefits and eligibility depend on factors such as location and hire date.
