About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring a Jr. Expense Reconciliation Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and reconciliation for US domestic operations. This is an entry-level, hourly role that provides hands-on exposure to invoice flows, data pipelines, and basic SQL — a strong opportunity to learn practical finance and data skills while working with an experienced team.
What You'll Do
- Run and monitor automated invoice processing tasks for US domestic partners and flag anomalies
- Triage and fix small breaks when vendors change formats or business rules shift
- Assist in setting up new vendor invoice pulls with guidance from the team
- Check invoice data for errors (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, missing fields)
- Pull simple SQL queries and reports for teammates on request
- Review invoice batches prior to payments going out
- Maintain and update task documentation and checklists
What We're Looking For
- Comfort with spreadsheets and eagerness to learn SQL (coursework, bootcamp, or self-taught is fine)
- Strong attention to detail with numbers and dollar amounts
- Curiosity and willingness to ask questions when data doesn't add up
- Ability to follow a task list and reprioritize when needed
- Reliable communication and follow-through on recurring, scheduled work
Nice to have
- Any exposure to Snowflake, Excel formulas, Python, or AI coding tools
- Bachelor’s degree

- Hourly pay range: $25 - $30 per hour (posted range; actual pay may vary based on experience and location)
