What You’ll Do
- Support the quality team in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Perform inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify conformance to standards.
- Collect, analyze, and report quality data (defect rates, process variances, performance trends) and help drive data-informed decisions.
- Assist in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Help audit production processes and product performance to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D to identify and resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvements.
- Document test results, inspections, and quality issues clearly and maintain accurate quality records.
- Support new quality initiatives and contribute to process-improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience using Excel for basic statistical analysis and trend reporting.
- Basic understanding of quality management principles and tools (root cause analysis, FMEA, control charts, Pareto analysis).
- Familiarity with industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ISO/TS 16949, ASTM) is a plus.
- Knowledge of inspection and testing techniques (visual inspection, dimensional measurement, micrometers, calipers); non‑destructive testing exposure helpful.
- Comfort working with quality management software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and QMS tools.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Team player with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Process improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma concepts) and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, assembly) preferred.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Regular attendance required.

- Base salary range: USD $60,000 — USD $78,000 per year.
