What You’ll Do

This is an early-career, hands-on product role supporting the product management team for AI-enabled and traditional automation solutions across an MGA value chain. You will work under senior product managers to help convert business needs into clear requirements and support delivery from ideation through production.

  • Support product managers in maintaining and prioritizing the roadmap and backlog for automation and AI-driven solutions across intake, triage, underwriting, quoting, and policy operations.
  • Gather business requirements from underwriting, actuarial, and operations; translate them into user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering, vendor partners, and business stakeholders to deliver MVPs and iterate quickly (support sprint planning and backlog refinement).
  • Assist adoption efforts for intelligent workflows, including preparing user documentation, training materials, and feedback collection.
  • Coordinate day-to-day cross-functional delivery: user acceptance testing, issue/action tracking, and status reporting.
  • Help define and track success metrics and business impact (e.g., speed-to-quote, triage accuracy, loss-ratio improvements) using dashboards and regular reporting.
  • Learn regulatory, underwriting, and specialty-program constraints that influence product design.
  • Document business rules and workflows to protect proprietary logic and limit vendor lock-in.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an organized, curious early-career product professional with interest in insurance and automation.

  • 1–2 years in product management, business analysis, or a related role — preferably in B2B SaaS, enterprise automation, or insurtech.
  • Interest in insurance or MGA operations, especially specialty lines and underwriting workflows; eagerness to learn.
  • Exposure to AI, automation, or API-driven products; curiosity about how these systems are built.
  • Comfortable with data: able to pull, analyze, and summarize datasets to support decisions (Excel, SQL, or BI tools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to interface with engineers, underwriters, and external partners.
  • Well organized, able to prioritize and follow through in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and receptive to feedback; able to turn fuzzy workflows into structured product features.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with agile delivery and tools such as Jira.
  • Basic familiarity with agent orchestration, document intelligence, or intelligent intake pipelines.
  • Exposure to modern insurance core systems (a plus).

Why You’ll Like This Role

  • Practical mentorship and a clear path for growth from a junior/hybrid role toward owning product areas.
  • Work at the intersection of AI and specialty insurance — build automation that materially improves underwriting outcomes.
  • Cross-functional exposure (underwriting, actuarial, operations, engineering) and measurable impact on product KPIs.

Location & Work Model

  • Hybrid — Conshohocken, PA (Confidential Client home office). Candidates must be able to work from the Conshohocken area as required by the role.
