What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Jr. Process Improvement Consultant to support government clients in State Farm, VA. You will contribute to client engagements that analyze current operations, recommend improvements, and support implementation to increase efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve program performance.

  • Assist clients in designing, launching, and improving projects and programs to meet strategic goals
  • Help define and implement performance metrics and measurement tools to track program results
  • Analyze projects and programs to identify risks and support development and monitoring of mitigations
  • Document and evaluate business processes; recommend process improvements
  • Apply analytical, problem-solving, modeling, and reporting techniques to client issues
  • Prepare communications ranging from emails to executive briefings, memos, and presentations
  • Conduct research and collaborate with teams to develop and recommend solutions
  • Support data collection, analysis, visualizations, and conclusions to improve decision-making
  • Help analyze and refine policies and procedures across programs and operations
  • Participate in business development support and internal initiatives (proposal work, coaching, recruiting, and learning development)

Location & Clearance

  • Location: State Farm, VA (onsite / client-facing work as required)
  • Travel: Up to 10%
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust is required. Candidates with an active Public Trust or Suitability are preferred.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong analytical and written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and adapt quickly in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce polished deliverables
  • Willingness to obtain required adjudication for Public Trust before onboarding

Nice to Have

  • Backgrounds/degrees in Public Policy, Government, International Studies, Accounting, Finance, Business, IT, Computer Science, Audit Readiness, Data Science, Communications, or STEM fields
  • Familiarity with project management phases (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure)
  • Experience producing reports, dashboards, models, and visualizations
  • Client-facing experience or interest in government/federal/DoD consulting
  • Interest in national security-related missions and public sector work

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated pay shown on the original posting: approximately $120,184 per year (estimated). Final compensation will depend on experience and the Confidential Client’s pay practices and applicable state law.
