Confidential Client is seeking motivated, entry-level candidates for Java developer and data analyst roles through a structured career-conversion program. Estimated compensation: $115,145 per year (estimated).
Location: Round Rock, TX — on-site or client-assigned roles in the Round Rock area.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply Java development best practices, with emphasis on microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Contribute to building and testing Java-based microservices (Spring Boot or similar)
- Support data analysis tasks using SQL and Python for ETL, reporting, and visualization
- Deliver small, client-facing projects that demonstrate practical skills for hiring managers
- Collaborate with engineers, data teams, and technical mentors during training and placement phases
- Participate in resume transformation, interview preparation, and career coaching as part of the program
Who We’re Looking For
- Entry-level candidates or career changers motivated to transition into software development or data roles
- Recent graduates in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or closely related fields (preferred but not required)
- Basic familiarity or coursework in programming (Java, Python, or comparable languages) or demonstrable self-study/projects
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, mentor-led environment
