What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking motivated, early-career data scientists to join a growing consulting team. You will work on client engagements to turn raw data into actionable insights, help build predictive models, and communicate results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Develop and implement machine learning models to solve business problems
- Build predictive models and evaluate performance using appropriate metrics
- Produce data visualizations and dashboards to clearly communicate findings
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to deliver production-ready solutions
- Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and runtime performance
- Follow software development best practices including version control, testing, and Agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 1–4 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, software development, or a related technical role
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, Java, or similar languages
- Working knowledge of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and machine learning fundamentals
- Experience with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or XGBoost is preferred but not required
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for a paid training program and to travel or relocate for client engagements across the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or personal projects that demonstrate applied data science, ML, or predictive analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Experience working in Jupyter Notebook, Google Colab, or similar environments
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour (USD)
