What You’ll Do

We are helping a confidential client hire an entry-level Jr Data Scientist to join a consulting team focused on delivering data-driven solutions to clients across the United States. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on real-world datasets, contribute to model development, and support production-ready analytics.

  • Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends and insights
  • Develop, train, validate, and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
  • Build data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business analysts to integrate models into client solutions
  • Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and performance
  • Follow software development best practices, including version control and Agile methodologies

Who You Are

This role is suited for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to grow in data science and consulting engagements. You enjoy tackling messy data, learning new tools, and translating technical results into business value.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience (internships, academic projects, or professional work)
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL or similar languages
  • Working knowledge of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and machine learning fundamentals
  • Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
  • Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts
  • Willingness to relocate to Atlanta, GA for a paid training program and to travel or relocate as required for client engagements across the United States
  • Authorization to work in the United States (the confidential client cannot sponsor at this time)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or coursework using machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, XGBoost)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Experience with Git, Jupyter Notebook, or Google Colab
  • Strong analytical thinking and clear verbal + written communication skills

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Employment type: Full-time (W2)
  • Pay: $35–$40 per hour
  • Paid training and relocation support for the Atlanta, GA training program (as noted above)
