What You’ll Do

As an engineer on this team you will design, run, and communicate technical evaluations that measure code and system behavior across a range of real-world scenarios.

• Design and oversee coding evaluations across languages (Python, Java, C, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Build test cases and benchmarks to assess system performance, scalability, and correctness.
• Analyze results from evaluations to identify strengths, regressions, and optimization opportunities.
• Summarize findings and share clear, actionable insights with research and engineering teams.
• Contribute to and maintain high-impact open-source projects and repositories.
• Work within distributed, asynchronous teams to iterate on tooling and evaluation pipelines.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking engineers who combine hands-on coding experience with a strong understanding of software architecture and open-source workflows.

• Proven open-source contributions (active GitHub or similar profile preferred).
• Strong experience in one or more languages listed above (Python, Java, C, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Familiarity with common libraries, frameworks, and developer tools in those ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization and scalable code patterns.
• Comfortable with Git, CI/CD systems, and reproducible evaluation pipelines.
• Self-directed problem solver who can identify improvements and execute with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for sharing technical findings.
