What You’ll Do

This role is for a hands-on Java Full Stack Engineer who will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Java, Python, Angular, and AWS services. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help scale cloud-native solutions.

• Contribute to requirements elicitation and translate business needs into technical design.
• Participate in application design discussions and document design decisions.
• Implement new features and integrate updates while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct and participate in code reviews; maintain code repositories and development best practices.
• Develop and execute testing strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Build user documentation, training materials, and support resources to enable smooth rollouts.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain clear records of code, tests, and support activities to enrich the project knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-quality code for front-end and back-end components.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch).
• Develop responsive UI components using Angular and integrate with Java/Spring Boot services.
• Apply CI/CD practices to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to improve automation, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team engineering standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven full-stack engineering experience with Java and Angular.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting/integration tasks.
• Hands-on experience building and scaling applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch).
• Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience working across the complete SDLC: requirements, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) OR three years of progressive related experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required for applicants.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (GitLab, Terraform preferred).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and release orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native architecture patterns.
