Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an experienced IT Systems Manager — Networking (IT/OT) to lead and operate OT/ICS networking and related infrastructure at a manufacturing site in Mehoopany, PA. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring hands-on ownership of OT network operations, incident response, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain resilient production systems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead OT/Operational Technology networking operations for multiple workloads (Business Intelligence, Data, Transactional Systems, Automation Systems, Web Applications).
- Serve as the OT Operations Leader for the site and coordinate with site IT/OT and Cybersecurity leads.
- Manage incident response for technical and cybersecurity incidents; drive incidents to resolution with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain always-on ICS network management and infrastructure; perform ICS network troubleshooting and remediation.
- Oversee OT change management and ensure high-quality execution of changes in the OT environment.
- Troubleshoot application, compute, and networking issues across Windows/Linux virtual environments.
- Analyze logs, crash dumps, and related diagnostics to determine root cause and implement fixes.
- Implement systemic remediation activities identified through audits and system health checks; maintain systems enrollment and compliance.
- Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for OT operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and resilience.
- Create and maintain IT continuity plans to minimize unplanned downtime.
What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
Required
- Experience with advanced network topologies, configuration, defensive strategies, and implementations in industrial or enterprise environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with VMware and virtualization technologies.
- Strong ability to analyze logs, crash/dump outputs, and other diagnostic data for root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and improve team collaboration and operational practices.
- Cultural awareness, strong team orientation, and willingness to share knowledge.
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Mehoopany, PA.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.; confidential client is not able to sponsor immigration for this role.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior manufacturing experience, specifically with PC&IS or similar production IT/OT environments.
- Experience with ICS/OT cybersecurity practices and incident response workflows.
Compensation & Work Location
- Starting pay / salary range (provided): $85,000 — $122,200 per year. Exact compensation depends on non-discriminatory factors such as role, location, experience, and credentials.
- Work location: Mehoopany, PA — this position requires onsite presence (5 days/week).
