What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level IT Support Technician (contract, full-time) to provide internal IT support and end-user assistance. This role works across teams to resolve Tier 1 incidents, onboard/offboard tools, and maintain documentation. The position supports a hybrid/remote-capable environment with primary work tied to Lake Mary, FL.
Responsibilities
- Respond to user tickets and provide general user support via ticketing system, email, chat, phone, or video
- Document request and resolution details clearly in the ticketing system
- Provide Tier 1 support for third-party tools and coordinate with vendor support when needed
- Support in-house EHR systems, coordinating with the development team as required
- Troubleshoot networking and printer issues and coordinate external vendor support as applicable
- Escalate cybersecurity or endpoint incidents to the appropriate teams
- Troubleshoot hardware and peripheral equipment issues
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of user tools and accounts
- Create and maintain clear IT documentation and runbooks
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of IT support or help-desk experience preferred (entry-level candidates considered)
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft tools and Windows environments required
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity and compliance best practices preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; patient, customer-focused approach
- Ability to learn new internal tools and EHR systems quickly
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $40,000 - $45,000 per year (as provided by the source)
- Contract / Full-time employment status
