What You’ll Do

The IT StoreFront Specialist provides front-line IT support and administrative assistance for NMCI users. This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on equipment distribution, inventory tracking, basic troubleshooting, and customer-facing support.

• Support new computer distribution and NMCI deployments
• Exchange or stage replacement computers when needed
• Manage computer turn-in and equipment collection for departing employees
• Issue standard IT peripherals (headsets, microphones, cameras, keyboards, mice)
• Track issued equipment and maintain accurate records
• Assist with new-hire check-in: verify accounts and systems are functional on day one
• Support technology refresh activities and help users operate newly issued devices
• Document work performed and escalate unresolved issues to the team

Who You Are (Required Qualifications)

• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; active clearance preferred
• US Citizenship is required for work on this DoD contract
• Education / experience: Bachelor’s degree + customer service experience OR Associate’s degree + 2 years’ experience OR 4 years’ relevant experience with no degree
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software concepts
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with a willingness to learn and follow direction
• Able to work 5 days per week onsite in Maryland, MD

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Prior experience in an enterprise or government IT support environment
• Experience with NMCI processes or similar managed IT services
• Basic inventory or asset-management experience

Employment Type & Location

• Employment type: Full-time
• Work location: Onsite — 5 days per week in Maryland, MD (applicants must be able to work on-site as required by the contract)

Compensation & Benefits

• Proposed pay: $22.40 — $29.00 USD (as listed by the client)
• Benefits typically include health insurance, paid leave, and retirement; specific offerings depend on the Confidential Client’s plan and the candidate’s employment category
