Overview
This entry-level IT Project & Product Manager opportunity is with a Confidential Client in Cincinnati, OH. The role is suited for 2027 bachelor’s graduates who want to launch a career managing IT projects or digital products. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps, run agile sprints, and deliver technology-driven solutions that impact the business and customers.
What You’ll Do
You will be assigned to either a digital product or project/program track and will perform activities such as:
- Lead or support the development of product roadmaps, vision, and backlog management for digital products.
- Translate business and customer needs into user stories, personas, user journeys and acceptance criteria.
- Plan, execute, and track IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery using Agile (Scrum) and/or Waterfall approaches.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, business partners) to deliver on timelines and scope.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and manage product backlogs.
- Use project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) to track status, risks, and dependencies.
- Collect and analyze performance data to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Communicate progress and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements (must meet at application):
- Graduating Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exposure to project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with project/product tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Asana.
- Experience or coursework in data analysis or reporting to measure project/product performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical ideas to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated teamwork and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred (nice-to-have):
- Internship or academic project experience working on software product delivery or IT projects.
- Experience creating user stories, roadmaps, or product requirement documentation.
- Basic knowledge of experimentation, metrics (KPIs), or product analytics.
Compensation & Schedule

- Salary range (provided by the source): $85,000.00 - $122,200.00 per year
