Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring entry-level IT Project & Product Managers (2027 graduates) to join their IT organization in Cincinnati, OH. This early-career position offers hands-on experience driving digital product strategy, managing project delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile and other delivery practices.


What You’ll Do

As an IT Project & Product Manager (Entry Level), you may be assigned to roles such as Digital Product Manager/Owner or Project/Program Manager. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Lead or contribute to digital product vision, roadmap and backlog management.
  • Translate business and customer needs into user stories, personas, user journeys and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Run or support Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and coordinate with engineering teams to deliver features.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, tracking scope, schedule, budget and risks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers and manage project deliverables.
  • Use data and experimentation to validate product hypotheses and measure outcomes.
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Digital Product Manager / Product Owner

  • Drive product strategy in partnership with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Prioritize the backlog to balance business value with engineering capacity.
  • Use user feedback and analytics to iterate on product features and UX.

Project / Program Manager

  • Apply Agile or Waterfall practices as appropriate to meet time and budget targets.

Qualifications

Applicants should be graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate early aptitude for product and project work:

  • You are graduating in Spring or Summer 2027 with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management / product development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Experience or coursework using project/product tools such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar.
  • Experience with basic data analysis or reporting to track project or product performance.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Motivated to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced technology environment.

Compensation & Relocation

  • Starting pay / salary range (reported): $85,000 - $122,200 per year.
  • Total rewards may include base salary, bonus (if applicable), and benefits; actual compensation depends on role, office location, credentials, and experience.
  • Candidates should be open to relocation during their career as business needs and development opportunities arise.
