Role Overview
We are hiring an entry-level IT Operations Trainee to join the Technology & User Support team in Mason, OH (hybrid). This is a hands-on, on-site-first position with opportunities to work with global IT teams and support cross-border operations. You’ll provide first-level technical support, help maintain IT assets, and participate in routine operations tasks while receiving mentorship and structured training.
What You’ll Do
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices; configure peripherals (printers, scanners).
- Respond to help-desk tickets and user requests in a timely, professional manner.
- Assist with software installations, updates, and standard configuration tasks.
- Monitor system performance and report irregularities to senior staff.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with patch management and system updates.
- Support global IT initiatives, documentation, and process-improvement efforts.
- Deliver basic user training on standard business applications and IT policies.
Who You Are — Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
- Basic familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong customer-service mindset with good verbal and written communication.
- Problem-solving orientation, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently or on a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or prior hands-on experience in IT support or help desk.
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and system administration fundamentals.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and standard troubleshooting workflows.
