What You’ll Do

This role supports IT financial management, vendor tracking, and project coordination to give IT leadership accurate financials, clear visibility into vendor spend, and well-run projects.

  • Prepare and track IT purchase orders (verify cost centers, GL accounts, internal orders).
  • Process and code vendor invoices; reconcile and close POs; coordinate monthly IT accruals with Accounting.
  • Track capital project spend by internal order in SAP: budget, actuals and commitments.

  • Audit contractor timesheets and invoices versus SoWs; monitor hours/dollars against contract values and flag overruns.
  • Coordinate vendor master data requests and keep contract/SoW records current.
  • Support IT project managers with schedules, RAID logs, status reports, meeting notes and documentation.
  • Track project budgets and resource allocation; tie project spend back to internal orders and POs.
  • Provide entry-level SAP support for Record-to-Report (R2R): triage tickets, support month-end/year-end activities, assist with testing, master data maintenance and user access requests.
  • Coordinate across IT, Finance, vendors and business stakeholders both on-site and remotely; help improve reporting and tracking processes.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, information systems or related field (or equivalent experience). Bachelor’s preferred.
  • 1+ years’ experience in financial tracking, accounting support, IT operations or project coordination.

  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
  • Exposure to SAP or another ERP preferred; familiarity with SAP S/4HANA a plus.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI) and project tools (Smartsheet or MS Project) is a plus.
  • Clear written and verbal communication across organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-directed and able to prioritize competing deadlines.
