What You’ll Do

This entry-level Associate Business Analyst role supports Sales with pipeline and CRM improvements. You will learn the commercial process, help document current-state workflows, and contribute to CRM and reporting projects under senior analyst mentorship.

  • Build a working understanding of the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline stages, lead qualification, handoffs, and deal progression.
  • Shadow Sales and Business Analysts during working sessions and stakeholder interviews.
  • Create and update process maps, swimlane diagrams, and flowcharts.
  • Take structured meeting notes and convert them into summaries, action items, and draft requirements.
  • Maintain process documentation and requirements backlogs to keep artifacts current.
  • Support drafting user stories and acceptance criteria that are specific and testable.
  • Pull, organize, and summarize sales data in Excel to identify trends and data quality issues.
  • Create basic reports and charts to show pipeline health and conversion metrics.
  • Identify CRM data inconsistencies and assist with cleanup efforts.
  • Support CRM enhancement projects: document requirements, track questions, and follow up on decisions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT): execute scenarios, document results, log defects, and track issues to resolution.
  • Help prepare release notes, quick reference guides, and training materials.
  • Assist with day-to-day Sales user support and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Sales, IT, and leadership; provide timely status updates and surface blockers early.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or expected this academic year in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, MIS, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability; can break problems into logical parts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to summarize information clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (sorting, filtering, pivot tables, basic formulas) and PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and good organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Intellectual curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and eagerness to learn new tools quickly.
  • Professional maturity, reliability, and a collaborative attitude.
  • No prior professional CRM experience required — this is a development-focused position with structured mentorship.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Employment type: Full time
  • Salary range: USD $78,000.00 - USD $87,000.00 per year
  • Work location: Houston, TX (onsite at corporate office)
