What You’ll Do
This entry-level IT Business Analyst will support the Office of the Chief Architect within Enterprise Technology. You will help structure and run the architecture program by organizing information, preparing analysis, coordinating across teams, and producing the reports and artifacts that leadership uses to make decisions.
- Support the operating rhythm of the Office of the Chief Architect — plan, schedule, and document architecture review boards, governance forums, and leadership meetings
- Maintain program artifacts: roadmaps, decision logs, action-item trackers, standards documentation
- Help define and improve repeatable processes for intake, prioritization, review, and reporting
- Track follow-ups and commitments from governance sessions and ensure owners, dates, and outcomes are captured and communicated
- Gather and synthesize information from product, engineering, infrastructure, security, and risk teams to support architecture reviews
- Analyze processes, systems, and data to identify overlaps, gaps, dependencies, and simplification opportunities
- Document business and technical requirements, current- and future-state workflows, and impact assessments
- Produce concise, decision-ready summaries, comparisons, and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Support portfolio reporting: collect status, metrics, and health indicators and assemble dashboards/scorecards
- Maintain inventories of applications, platforms, and capabilities to support portfolio rationalization
- Assist with intake and demand analysis to evaluate alignment with strategy, standards, and investment priorities
- Monitor progress against plans and flag risks, blockers, and schedule concerns early
- Produce polished deliverables — presentations, briefings, meeting summaries, and process documentation — for varied audiences
What We’re Looking For
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field — equivalent practical experience considered
- 0–2 years professional experience (internships, co-ops, academic projects in tech/analysis/project coordination valued)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with data and derive clear findings
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to summarize complex information for different audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to learn new tools quickly
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-through
- Professional, collaborative presence with the maturity to engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to financial services, wealth management, or another regulated industry via coursework, internships, or work experience
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar collaboration/work-management tools
- Experience with data analysis or visualization (Excel modeling, Power BI, Tableau, or basic SQL)
- Understanding of agile delivery, SDLC, or IT project management concepts
- Interest in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or portfolio management as a career path
