IT Associate
The IT Associate role supports daily technology operations focusing on end-user computing, help desk services, and administration of online donor platforms such as ANDAR ePledge. What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an IT Associate to support day-to-day technology operations with an emphasis on end-user computing, workstation and laptop support, help desk services, and administration of online donor/pledging platforms (e.g., ANDAR/ePledge, FormAssembly). This is a contract-to-hire, onsite role based in Rochester, NY.
- Deliver prompt, high-quality customer service and technical assistance to staff
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, phones, peripherals, and related equipment
- Provide help desk troubleshooting and ticketing support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain operating systems, enterprise applications, user accounts, and Active Directory tasks
- Administer and support online donor/pledging systems (ANDAR/ePledge, FormAssembly) and donor website workflows
- Provide technical support for meetings, presentations, and events (internal and external)
- Track technology assets, maintain inventories, and monitor software licenses
- Produce and distribute system and campaign reports; assist with data setup and reporting for donor campaigns
- Document support requests, resolutions, and internal processes; recommend and implement practical technical solutions
- Participate in technology projects and coordinate with IT teams as needed
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in computer science or a related IT field, plus at least 2 years supporting PCs and enterprise software in a business environment — OR equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- Hands-on experience with desktop/laptop support, Windows 10/11 environments, and Office 365
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, remote support tools, and common troubleshooting workflows
- Experience with phone system support, Outlook, VPN connectivity, and basic networking concepts
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; customer-service oriented with clear verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and learn new systems quickly
- Willingness to support onsite events and occasional after-hours needs when required
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Industry certifications such as Microsoft credentials and/or CompTIA A+
- Prior experience administering ANDAR/ePledge, FormAssembly, or donor/CRM systems
- Experience supporting nonprofit or fundraising operations a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour (final offer within range depends on experience, skills, and other job-related factors)
