What You’ll Do

This entry-level IT Analyst I role is a hands-on introduction to how enterprise organizations manage and use data. You'll work on small, mentor-guided projects that support decision-making, reporting, and prototype development across engineering, supply chain, finance, and manufacturing systems for a confidential client.

  • Gain exposure to enterprise data flows and systems (e.g., ERP, cloud platforms, analytics tools).
  • Support simple data quality checks, structured cleanup, and documentation of data definitions and business rules.
  • Build small prototypes or automation scripts that demonstrate solutions to real business problems.
  • Assist in creating basic dashboards and reports to surface insights for stakeholders.
  • Follow data security and governance guidelines while working in test or prototype environments.
  • Participate in learning sessions with senior IT and data leaders to understand broader programs and career pathways.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in final year in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technology discipline.
  • Ability to write code in at least one language (Python, SQL, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Understanding of core computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, databases, debugging, and basic SDLC concepts.
  • Exposure to at least one of: web development, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, AI/ML, data analytics, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and clear communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with mentors, teammates, and cross-functional stakeholders.

We Value / Preferred

  • Academic projects, internships, capstones, or hackathon experience.
  • Familiarity with Python data libraries, data cleaning, or analytics notebooks.
  • Experience with dashboards or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Basic cloud awareness (AWS/Azure fundamentals, APIs, IAM, serverless concepts).
  • Exposure to AI/GenAI concepts (prompt engineering, embeddings, model evaluation).
  • Version control experience (Git/GitHub) and comfort with IDEs like VS Code.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and CI/CD basics.

Technical Skills

  • Programming & scripting: Basic Python for analysis/automation, SQL fundamentals; optional exposure to Java or JavaScript; basic PowerShell/Bash a plus.
  • Data & analytics: Data cleaning, organizing, and preparing datasets; ability to help build simple dashboards.
  • Cloud & platforms: Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake) and how data moves between systems.
  • Tools & productivity: Git/GitHub, VS Code, and issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Estimated compensation: $51,924 per year (estimated).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • This position is with a confidential client and is based in Phoenix, AZ.

Location

  • On-site in Phoenix, AZ (local candidates preferred). This posting is for work supporting the confidential client in Phoenix.
