Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level IS Forward Deployed Product Analyst as part of a one-year Management Development Program (MDP). This role combines product discovery, business analysis, workflow design, and hands-on use of AI-enabled tools to accelerate digital transformation in operational teams. The position is based in Wilmington, DE and is a full-time role within the IT / financial-services transformation space.

• Pay range: $29.57 - $43.99 per hour (range covers all locations; final pay reflects experience and location).

What you’ll do

• Help discover, design, test, and launch digital workflow solutions for institutional services and operational teams.
• Talk with product owners, operations teams, technology partners, and senior leaders to identify pain points and automation opportunities.
• Turn findings into clear artifacts: user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and simple wireframes.
• Use agentic AI and AI-assisted tools to analyze processes, draft documentation, generate test cases, and rapidly prototype solutions.
• Build quick prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms, enterprise tools, and collaboration/design tools.
• Support QA and UAT: write test scenarios, log defects, validate fixes, and help confirm production readiness.
• Help define, measure, and report KPIs (adoption, cycle time, exception rates, business impact).
• Apply agile, lean, design thinking, and product management practices on real transformation work.
• Follow required risk, regulatory, and internal-control policies; escalate issues when necessary.
• Participate in group projects and leadership development activities as part of the Management Development Program.

Who we’re looking for (Required)

This is an early-career role designed for recent graduates or candidates with internship/co-op/project experience. You should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (MDP-targeted candidates or MBA students with no full-time experience are encouraged).
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to break down open-ended problems.
• Some exposure to product or process work (user stories, requirements, process mapping, wireframes) via coursework, internships, or projects.
• Familiarity with testing basics (QA/UAT, writing test cases, logging defects) is a plus.
• Interest in digital product management, AI-enabled operations, workflow automation, or fintech/financial services.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset; able to work with business, product, design, and technology partners.

Preferred experience

Helpful (but not required) experience includes:

• Internships or projects in financial services, fintech, banking, wealth management, trust services, payments, operations, risk, or compliance.
• Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms or workflow tools (Appian, Power Platform, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Pega, Airtable, Retool, Mendix).
• Experience with process mapping, journey mapping, wireframing, or UI sketches (Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, Visio).
• Familiarity with Appian Designer concepts (process models, interfaces, records, dashboarding) — Appian Level 1 exposure is a plus.
• Hands-on use of AI tools to draft requirements, prototypes, or test cases (Claude, OpenAI tools, etc.).
• Understanding of Agile rituals, backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Basic data analysis and KPI/reporting experience.
