What You’ll Do

• Participate in and successfully graduate from an accredited IONM education and training program.
• Perform intraoperative neurophysiology (IONM) procedures appropriate to your current competency level, including test setup and electrode application.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation during monitoring sessions.
• Train under direct technical supervision until required competencies and sign-offs are achieved; once complete, work under indirect supervision.
• Respond to on-call and emergency requests as directed.
• Cross-train in additional modalities and support other regions when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support timely regional operations.

Who We’re Looking For

• Credential in electroencephalography (R. EEG T) and/or a credential in evoked potentials (R. EP T); OR
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Six months or more of patient care experience is preferred.
• Currently enrolled in the Confidential Client Education Program; OR currently enrolled in a CAAHEP‑accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program.
• Strong, well‑developed verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and follow clinical protocols.

Licensure, Certifications & Timing

• BLS certification required.
• CNIM certification (ABRET) required within 12 months of advancing to Technologist I.
• Candidates must meet any applicable state licensure or credentialing requirements prior to independent practice. Applicants are responsible for ensuring compliance with Washington state regulations.

Compensation & Employment Type

• Salary range: $50,000–$75,000 per year. Fellowship begins at $50,000 with scheduled increases tied to successful completion of training milestones, competencies, and clinical sign-offs. Fellows who complete the program and required milestones may reach up to $75,000 annually.
• Employment type: Full‑time.
• Training-focused fellowship with a clear pathway to an IONM Technologist role and certification support.

• Location: Tacoma, WA — on-site clinical work required. Role includes call responsibilities and occasional regional support.
