Who We Are

Our confidential client is a leader in the Accounting & Finance space supporting residential mortgage investor portfolios. The team values collaboration, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset. This role is designed for recent graduates or professionals new to investor operations who want hands-on experience with reporting, reconciliations, and investor accounting.


What You’ll Do

This is an entry-level, on-site role supporting investor servicing operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Help prepare investor reports, remittance files, and related accounting entries for investor portfolios (e.g., Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, Private Investors).
  • Support monthly reconciliations for custodial accounts (Clearing, P&I, T&I, Escrow).
  • Research and help resolve data discrepancies and account variances.
  • Learn to facilitate remittance wires and journal entries under supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate records and resolve issues.
  • Follow established procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist with audit support activities (internal and external).
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Communicate findings clearly to operations staff and leadership.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Program start: September 2026.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Preferred majors: Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Entry-level candidates and recent graduates encouraged to apply.

Skills & Tools

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, charts; macros a plus).
  • Experience or interest in Tableau, PowerPoint, and Visio is a plus.
  • Comfortable working with quantitative data and producing clear reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
  • Professional, entrepreneurial mindset with good business judgment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • On-site position at the assigned office location (Coppell, TX).
  • Regular and punctual attendance required per schedule set by leadership.
  • Sedentary office work with prolonged computer use and repetitive motions (typing, phone use).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Employment contingent on meeting company security standards for mobile devices (e.g., ability to install Microsoft Authenticator).
