What You’ll Do

This Investments Analyst role supports the Investments team for a confidential client focused on healthcare real estate and related asset classes (Senior Housing, Life Sciences, Outpatient Medical). Typical responsibilities include:

• Prepare and synthesize financial, property/portfolio and market analysis across healthcare and adjacent industries
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (NPV, DCF, IRR, accretion/dilution and distribution waterfall analyses)
• Support full deal execution: underwriting, structuring, on-site due diligence and closing activities
• Assist in preparation of Investment Committee and Board presentation materials
• Develop and maintain reporting databases, market data sets and precedent-transaction libraries
• Gain and apply advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and ARGUS Enterprise
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and provide cross‑functional support as needed

Who You Are / Qualifications

Candidates who will succeed in this role generally have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; majors in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting preferred
• 0–4 years of relevant experience (commercial real estate, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance); healthcare real estate experience is a plus
• Strong academic performance and demonstrated analytical ability
• Hands-on modeling experience and attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to present complex topics clearly
• Team-oriented, self-motivated, high energy, and comfortable handling varied responsibilities
• Willingness to travel (typically < 10%)

Compensation & Employment Type

• Base salary range: $105,000 — $115,000 per year (Confidential Client)
• Additional generous cash incentives may be available
• Employment type: FULL_TIME or CONTRACTOR (per team needs)
• Location: Irvine, CA (on-site or hybrid as defined by the client)
