Summary

This is an entry-level Investment Operations Analyst role supporting a Confidential Client’s investment operations. The position sits on the middle/back office team working across multiple asset classes. This is a hybrid role based at the corporate office with a flexible in-office / work-from-home arrangement.

What You’ll Do

• Support middle and back-office operational activities across public and private asset classes including trade settlement, cash and position reconciliations, wire processing, and data management.
• Prepare and validate asset valuations and regular operational reports.
• Investigate and resolve trade, cash, and position breaks; escalate issues when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal partners (IT, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Treasury) and external service providers to resolve exceptions and implement process improvements.
• Participate in operational projects and continuous process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and dataflows.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline.
• Early-career professional or recent graduate with exposure to investment-related activities (internship experience preferred).
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables); proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, organized, intellectually curious, and a proactive problem solver.
• Comfortable working in a team environment and building relationships across functions.
• Interest in investment management and operations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Anticipated annual salary: USD 59,600 – 99,400 (range depends on experience and location).
• Role is also anticipated to be eligible for an annual bonus plan.
• Benefits typically include medical, vision, dental, 401(k), life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off (minimum listed), paid holidays, and leaves of absence — available from day one of employment.

Location & Work Model

• Worksite: Bloomfield, CT (hybrid, flexible in-office / work-from-home arrangement).
• If working remotely occasionally or permanently, a cable broadband or fiber connection with at least 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload is required.

• This position supports the client’s registered investment adviser. The successful candidate will be designated an Access Person and must comply with the personal trading requirements in the adviser’s Code of Ethics.
