Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Investment Operations Analyst to join a small, collaborative investment operations team in Belle Haven, CT. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who want hands-on exposure to trade lifecycle operations, cash and securities reconciliation, and investment reporting — with experience or interest in Bloomberg, Aladdin, Databricks, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate confirmation, settlement, and ongoing monitoring of investment transactions across multiple asset classes.
• Monitor custodian activity, including corporate actions, income payments, and settlement exceptions.
• Reconcile cash balances and transactions against custodian records and internal systems.
• Produce portfolio, operational, regulatory, and management reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to cash, securities, income, and trade activity.
• Communicate regularly with brokers, custodians, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient operations and resolve issues.
• Use Bloomberg, Aladdin, Databricks, and AI-powered solutions to transform data into actionable insights, automate manual tasks, strengthen controls, and improve reporting.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, reporting requests, and process-improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• One to two years of relevant professional experience in investment operations, accounting, or related roles.
• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Bloomberg, Aladdin, Databricks, or AI-enabled tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000 — $85,000 per year (dependent on experience, knowledge, and education).
