What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Investment Data Analyst to help build and operate high-quality data capabilities supporting SAI-led products and functions. You will work on data sourcing, aggregation, quality controls, and distribution pipelines that enable reporting and analytics for investment teams.

• Develop and implement repeatable processes for data sourcing, aggregation, validation, and distribution
• Build and document data pipelines and quality checks to support production reporting
• Research and recommend automation and scalable solutions for data ingestion and distribution
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define project plans, milestones, and success criteria
• Support ad-hoc reports, data investigations, and root-cause analysis for data issues
• Monitor, triage, and govern data issues; coordinate remediation with internal teams and external vendors
• Contribute to data strategy discussions that inform product and operational decisions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress
• 2+ years working in a data-intensive environment (investment management, financial services, or technology preferred)
• Practical experience querying and manipulating data using SQL or similar tools (TOAD, etc.)
• Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, or Alteryx
• Strong Excel skills and comfort preparing presentations in PowerPoint
• Basic understanding of asset allocation products and risk-related concepts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Familiarity with Python, R, or Scala for data analysis
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they apply to data pipelines or analytics
• Experience with data governance, metadata management, or vendor data integrations
• Prior exposure to investment data models, reference data, and portfolio analytics

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range (provided by source): $80,000 - $153,000 per year
• Benefits may include: annual bonus opportunities, retirement contributions, comprehensive healthcare, parental leave, tuition assistance, wellness programs, and professional development offerings
• Note: Benefits and bonus structure are administered by the hiring organization (Confidential Client)
