What You’ll Do

You will join a Confidential Client as an Investment Banking Analyst I on an industry-focused team, supporting transaction execution and client advisory work. This is a hands-on role that emphasizes financial modeling, valuation, and M&A support.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate debt and equity financing alternatives.
  • Perform valuation analyses, including comparable company analysis and discounted cash flow (DCF) models.
  • Support equity offerings, private placements, mergers & acquisitions, and other capital markets work.
  • Research and synthesize industry and company data; prepare written analyses and presentation materials.
  • Draft and maintain deal documentation and internal files for active and prospective transactions.
  • Work with senior bankers to prepare client presentations and pitch materials.
  • Track market and industry news to inform deal strategy and client conversations.
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new analysts and interns as needed.
  • Maintain group databases and support ad-hoc projects and requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline required.
  • Internship or prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related area is preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills; familiarity with valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare client-facing materials.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, high ethical standards, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common financial databases is expected.
  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).

  • Willingness to obtain required securities credentials within employer timeframes (examples historically required for similar roles):
    • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
    • Series 63
    • Series 79
    • Series 7
