What You’ll Do
- Build and audit detailed operating and transaction models (3-statement models, DCFs, LBOs, and sensitivity analyses).
- Analyze returns, capital structure, downside scenarios, and valuation (comps, precedent transactions, other methods).
- Support diligence across financial, commercial, operational, and legal workstreams.
- Produce investment memos, presentation materials, and clear summaries for the Investment Committee.
- Track portfolio performance: dashboards, KPIs, and operational improvement opportunities.
- Contribute to bolt-on acquisition analysis, refinancing scenarios, and exit planning.
- Present data-backed opinions on risks, value-creation levers, and strategic priorities to senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education & Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Math, or a related field.
- Very strong Excel skills — able to build and audit complex financial models.
- Solid foundation in corporate finance, accounting, and valuation techniques.
- Experience (formal or informal)
- Prior internships or roles in investment banking, private equity/VC, consulting, or corporate finance are a plus, but not strictly required for exceptional candidates.
- Demonstrated interest in investing, deal analysis, or business strategy (projects, clubs, case work, self-directed learning).
- Soft Skills & Mindset
- High ownership mentality — proactive, resourceful, and results-driven.
- Clear written and verbal communication — able to tell the story behind the numbers.
- Comfortable with periods of long hours when deals are live.
- Curious, humble, coachable, and committed to rapid learning.
Compensation & Structure
- Employment type: Full-Time.
- Representative compensation range (varies by employer): $140,000 — $185,000+ total compensation (note: actual base and bonus structure will be set by the Confidential Client).
