Compensation & Schedule

  • Hourly pay: $21 - $28 per hour (range depends on experience, performance, and certifications)
  • Employment type: Full-time

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree OR ATP certificate required
  • DME (durable medical equipment) experience a plus

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)

The Inventory Specialist ensures equipment accuracy, availability, and readiness to support timely patient deliveries and service.

  • Order approved patient-specific equipment and update ordering queues (Sales Pilot)
  • Maintain min/max stock levels for standard equipment and run biweekly PO/asset reports
  • Identify aging inventory and coordinate transfers with Branch Managers, ATPs, and other offices
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in compliance with accreditation and company policies
  • Complete parts installation, modifications, retrofitting, cleaning, and testing of equipment prior to delivery
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Communicate proactively with Office Assistants, Delivery Technicians, Sales, and corporate teams about inventory status, delays, or issues
  • Serve as backup Delivery Technician when needed (per Branch Manager and HR approval)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficient computer skills and experience using inventory/ordering systems (Sales Pilot experience is a plus)
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and set up complex power chairs and mobility equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact respectfully with patients and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting competing deadlines independently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow safety/quality/regulatory documentation standards
  • Required to complete and maintain internal certification
