Overview

We are working with a confidential client in the logistics & warehouse industry to hire an on-site Inventory Coordinator in Fort Lee, NJ. This full-time role is ideal for entry-level candidates or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, and logistics. The position includes structured training and a comprehensive benefits package.


What You’ll Do

As an Inventory Coordinator you will support daily inventory, processing, and logistics activities across multiple sites. Responsibilities include accurate processing of inventory transactions, coordinating incoming/outgoing shipments, investigating discrepancies, and preparing reports for Supply Chain and Accounting.

  • Manage item setup, receipt processing, stock transfers, and processing-center transactions
  • Monitor vessel and barge arrivals; record receipts and reconcile across sites
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and nonconforming material issues
  • Document quality-control findings and support the claims process
  • Post inventory transactions and processing invoices; follow up with processing centers
  • Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and review third-party warehouse invoices for accuracy
  • Compile inventory and shipment reports to support tax filings and audits

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes
  • Bilingual in English and Korean

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant coursework, internships, or up to two years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory operations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Experience with AI or workflow automation tools (examples: Claude, n8n) is a plus
  • Previous exposure to the steel or metals industry is helpful but not required

Work Hours

  • Full-Time — Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (on-site)

Compensation & Benefits

Estimated base pay: $41,340 per year (estimated).
