Role Summary
Confidential Client is hiring an on-site Inventory Coordinator (bilingual English / Korean) in Fort Lee, NJ. This hands-on role supports daily inventory processing, shipment coordination, reconciliations, and recordkeeping across multiple sites. Training is provided — this is a good fit for recent grads and entry-level candidates seeking growth in supply chain and logistics.
What You’ll Do
- Manage core inventory workflows: item setup, receipts, stock transfers, and processing-center transactions.
- Monitor vessel and barge arrivals and record inventory receipts across multiple sites.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and nonconforming material issues.
- Document quality-control findings to support claims and vendor follow-ups.
- Review processing results, post inventory transactions and invoices, and follow up with processing centers.
- Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and produce reports for Supply Chain and Accounting.
- Review third‑party warehouse invoices and dispute inaccuracies or overcharges.
- Compile inventory and shipment reports to support annual inventory tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (required).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Relevant internships, coursework, or up to 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Experience with workflow or automation tools (examples: Claude, n8n).
- Previous exposure to the steel/metals industry is a plus.
Compensation & Location
- Location: Fort Lee, NJ (on-site).
- Employment type: Full-time (expected).
- Estimated annual compensation (from source): $46,490 per year — estimated. Actual pay may vary based on experience and role classification (Inventory Associate vs. Inventory Coordinator).
