Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Inventory Associate in Campbell, CA to support inventory accuracy, cycle counting, variance analysis, and process improvements for the site. This is an entry-level role with opportunities to learn inventory management practices, present findings to leadership, and support cross-functional initiatives in an IT-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate activities of cycle counters across business areas to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Monitor priorities and deployment of cycle count activities.
• Identify process issues and opportunities for improvement; support implementation and follow-up.
• Assist with variance analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Report cycle count findings, write-offs, and recommended process changes to management.
• Provide training, support, and mentoring to NCM specialists and site employees on inventory processes and NCM procedures.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to deliver technical or business updates.
• Perform audits on physical processes and adherence to procedures.

Key Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, MRP techniques, or manufacturing control systems.
• Familiarity with warehouse, distribution, inventory control, and shipping/receiving practices.
• Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis and data interpretation.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as Excel; experience with Access, Word, and PowerPoint is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records of material movement.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; able to present findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to lead or guide small work groups and provide on-the-job training.
• Basic math skills.

• Work performed primarily in a normal office environment.
• May require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or detailed data.
• Frequent repetitive manual movements (data entry, using a mouse, calculator, etc.).

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Range: $63,196 - $93,969 per year (includes base salary and target short-term incentive where applicable).
• Confidential Client offers a comprehensive benefits package in addition to the salary range.
