Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level International Associate Relationship Manager to join their commercial banking team in Glendale, CO. This role is designed for recent college graduates or early-career professionals who want structured training and hands-on experience in international banking, foreign exchange, trade services, and treasury management while supporting commercial clients engaged in cross-border business.
What You’ll Do
- Support International Relationship Managers servicing commercial clients engaged in international trade, cross-border banking, foreign exchange, and treasury activities.
- Participate in formal training and rotational assignments to build skills in FX products, trade services, international payments, treasury solutions, and risk management.
- Assist in preparing client presentations, proposals, account reviews, and pipeline reports to support business development and relationship management.
- Attend client meetings and internal strategy sessions to gain exposure to consultative sales and relationship practices.
- Research client industries, trade trends, and foreign exchange market developments to support solution recommendations.
- Collaborate with credit, treasury management, operations, compliance, and trade services teams to support client onboarding and service requests.
- Assist with portfolio monitoring, annual review preparations, client reporting, and relationship planning.
- Support trade services activities, including letters of credit, documentary collections, trade finance, and international payments.
- Learn and comply with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering practices, sanctions compliance, and risk-management principles.
- Complete assigned development milestones and training to prepare for progression into an International Relationship Manager role.
- Follow all policies and required trainings; may coach or mentor others as knowledge grows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, Accounting, or related field.
- 0–2 years of related experience (banking, internships, financial services, customer service, sales support) — acceptable for entry-level.
- Strong interest in international banking, foreign exchange, trade finance, or treasury management.
- Foundational understanding of business finance and financial statements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written).
- Demonstrated ability to learn new products, systems, and procedures quickly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time effectively.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Self-motivated and committed to continuous learning and professional development.
Compensation & Location
- Pay range: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour (range provided by source; actual offer will depend on non-discriminatory factors including experience, skills, and location).
- This position requires the ability to work fully onsite in Glendale, CO (authoritative job location).
