What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultants to join its consultancy practice in Philadelphia, PA. In this role you will work on client-facing audit and advisory projects that help organizations manage risk, improve controls, and modernize processes using data and emerging technologies.

• Participate on audit and advisory engagements across Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory tracks
• Assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and document observations and recommendations
• Analyze data sets using AI-enabled tools and data interrogation techniques to surface insights
• Build and present clear written and verbal reports to client teams
• Support process improvement, compliance, and control-testing activities
• Collaborate with engagement teams, Talent Managers, and leaders to develop skills and deliver client value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, MIS, or a related field
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Demonstrated proficiency applying AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI) to analytical and research tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to apply critical thinking and creativity to client problems
• Technical proficiency aligned with the assigned capability area (business process or technology audit)

Preferred / Helpful Experience

• Understanding of internal audit methodology, risk and control frameworks
• Hands-on experience analyzing data across formats to produce actionable findings
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Power BI (or similar visualization tools)
• Interest or exposure to automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, MS Power Platform, or Python
• Entry-level software development awareness and best practices
• A growth mindset and drive toward professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA)

How We Work

Confidential Client operates a hybrid work model that balances in-office collaboration with remote work as appropriate for client needs and team effectiveness. Work may include local or out-of-state client site visits and occasional travel depending on project requirements.

Compensation & Benefits (Summary)

• Base salary range: $72,000 — $87,000 per year (placement depends on experience and location)
• Bonus target: $2,000 (role-specific)
• Estimated total cash range (base + bonus): $74,000 — $89,000
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life and disability insurance, parental leave, 401(k) with employer match, Choice Time Off (CTO), and paid holidays. Specific offerings and eligibility depend on role and location.
