What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Interior Designer & Architectural Associate to support its retail design team. You will help develop and implement showroom designs that deliver a consistent brand experience across multiple locations.

• Assist in developing and implementing retail interior design concepts and store layouts
• Support execution of the interior design vision across multiple showroom projects
• Prepare design drawings, layout plans, and client/presentation materials
• Assist with space planning, fixture layouts, and furniture placement (FF&E)
• Research and specify interior materials, finishes, FF&E, and furnishings
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, and internal project teams
• Participate in site visits, documentation, and project punch lists as needed
• Help ensure consistency with brand standards and design objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field
• 1–2 years of professional experience in an architectural or interior design environment preferred
• Strong design sensibility and creative judgment
• Knowledge of interior architecture, materials, FF&E, and furniture
• Highly motivated, dependable, organized, and eager to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Software Requirements

Proficiency in:

• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• Adobe Illustrator

Experience with additional Adobe Creative Suite applications and rendering software (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, 3D rendering tools) is a plus.

Work Arrangement, Travel & Application Requirements

• Employment type: Full‑time
• Work arrangement: Hybrid — typically 4 days in office and 1 day remote
• Travel: Required for site visits and project needs
