Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Interior Associate I (entry level) to support interior design project teams in Springfield, MO. This role focuses on project documentation, drafting, finish selection, space planning, and client support. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work program and a clear path for growth for recent graduates and early-career designers.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with interior design projects including space planning, finish selection, drafting, renderings, and presentation materials
- Maintain and organize the design library and project files/logs
- Revise technical documents and assist with project administrative documentation
- Support development and maintenance of client relationships
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project team members to ensure coordinated deliverables
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program
- 0–2 years of professional interior design experience (internships and co‑op experience count)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit (required)
- SketchUp experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to support client relationships
- Attention to detail and good organizational/file-management habits
- Willingness to learn and develop technical and presentation skills
Compensation
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $62,000 (final offer determined by education, experience, skills, and equity)
- Full-time employment; hybrid work program available
