Role Overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking an entry-level Intelligence Analyst to join an engineering-focused team in Johnson City, TN. This full-time role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance to apply; candidates with a CI polygraph will be prioritized. This is an excellent opportunity for mission-driven early-career analysts or veterans with equivalent experience.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct advanced open-source and classified research to support analytic products.
- Evaluate, synthesize, and integrate multi-discipline data into clear, defensible assessments.
- Produce written intelligence reports, briefs, and presentations for decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and develop actionable recommendations.
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in high-impact, time-sensitive environments.
- Maintain strict handling and reporting standards for sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Active Top Secret security clearance required to apply. CI polygraph holders strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR 4+ years of active military service (veterans may substitute service for degree).
- Strong critical thinking and analytic reasoning skills.
- Demonstrated advanced research abilities and intellectual curiosity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex topics simply.
- Comfortable working as part of a team and interacting with personnel at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Previous intelligence analyst experience or internships.
- Familiarity with analytic tradecraft, structured analytic techniques, or geospatial tools.
- Experience working in engineering or technical environments supporting missions.
