About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an Integration & Test Engineer to support manufacturing, integration, and test activities for launch vehicle and spacecraft programs. This hands-on engineering role sits at the intersection of design, production, and quality — you will help translate engineering designs into reliable, manufacturable assemblies and support the build and inspection processes that deliver flight hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for build and inspection processes for structural assemblies, propulsion assemblies, and vehicle integration
• Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes to meet safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery goals
• Collaborate with design engineers, subject-matter experts, and technicians to resolve production challenges
• Evaluate designs for manufacturability and implement design-for-manufacturing changes in a dynamic production environment
• Investigate and resolve product non-conformances and support root cause corrective actions with quality teams
• Plan and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet production volume needs
• Create and refine floor layouts, capacity models, and product flow analyses to support on-time deliveries

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials, or industrial engineering
• 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production (internship and relevant school project experience qualifies)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials, or industrial engineering (preferred)
• Experience building, assembling, or integrating large mechanical assemblies
• Familiarity with metallic manufacturing techniques and equipment (welding, metal forming, fastening, drilling, bonding, automation)
• Mechanical component or tooling design experience using 3D CAD tools
• Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA) principles
• Experience transitioning products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment
• Experience writing work instructions and procedures for critical aerospace parts
• Prior production experience in the aerospace or high-reliability manufacturing industries

• Willingness to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by production schedules
• Compliance with export control and work authorization rules may be required for this role

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range (provided by client):

• Level I: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
• Level II: $115,000 - $160,000 per year

Your final level and base salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Base salary is one component of total rewards; candidates may also be eligible for long-term incentives, bonuses, retirement and health benefits, paid time off, and other program benefits per client policy. In accordance with state laws, the salary range above is provided for postings in applicable jurisdictions.
