What You’ll Do
This entry-level role is designed to develop into a full Sales Agent position after successful completion of training. You will work from a district office and perform both onsite and offsite sales activities under direction of the Insurance Branch Manager.
- Sell insurance products and AAA-style memberships using proven sales fundamentals.
- Conduct rate quotes, qualify applicants, inspect vehicles or property, and complete underwriting paperwork accurately.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and member referrals.
- Manage a sales pipeline and consistently work toward production goals.
- Educate members on products and services to drive retention and satisfaction.
- Process policy updates, cancellations, endorsements, and payments with attention to compliance and accuracy.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer members to other lines of business (insurance, travel, membership).
- Attend required training and team meetings; complete assigned administrative tasks.
Estimated compensation (provided): Estimated base pay $66,917/year (estimated) plus commission; strong performers have $100K+ earning potential through commission.
What We're Looking For
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license required, or willingness/ability to obtain as required by state.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of liability insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1–3 years of insurance sales or service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Competitive, persistent, and results-driven mindset.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Ability to pass background, credit, and drug screenings as required.
