What You’ll Do
Support clients as an entry-level Insurance & Financial Representative by helping them identify and reach financial goals. You will work directly with clients to evaluate needs and recommend tailored products and plans across insurance, investments, and retirement solutions.
- Support clients’ progress toward financial goals with strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations
- Consider clients’ life stage, employment situation, and evolving needs when creating personalized plans
- Compile financial profiles (income, assets, liabilities, goals) to deliver accurate advice
- Recommend solutions in insurance, asset accumulation, retirement planning, mutual funds, and other investment options
- Work collaboratively with the team and participate in ongoing training and development
- Attend in-person meetings and training as required in a hybrid work model
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and required licensing
Compensation
- Commission-based pay with estimated total compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly (Commission)
- Training and career development opportunities to grow earnings and responsibilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field (required)
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/66 licenses are a plus (not required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to build client relationships
- Comfortable with basic financial concepts (risk management, retirement planning, mutual funds)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM systems and/or financial planning software
- Self-motivated, coachable, competitive mindset with a history of leadership or achievement
- No prior finance experience required — comprehensive training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Work Location & Schedule
- Location: Detroit, MI (hybrid model — combination of remote work and in-person meetings/training)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Attendance at office meetings or client appointments will be required as part of the hybrid schedule
