This position uses CRM tools and AI-enabled sales systems to drive accuracy, speed, and pipeline conversion.

What You’ll Do

  • Own assigned RFIs, proposals, and folios from start to finish using internal tools and established processes.
  • Take qualified opportunities handed off by Sales Managers through proposal, negotiation, contracting, and close.
  • Engage directly with brokers, insurance agents, and prospective clients to gather information, answer questions, and maintain deal momentum.
  • Manage an assigned pipeline and sales quota; update opportunity details and forecast accuracy in Salesforce.
  • Coordinate contract requirements and support a smooth transition to Client Activation and Implementation teams.
  • Support broker and prospect development by educating partners on the client’s HR, benefits, payroll, tax, and compliance value proposition.
  • Submit and track pre-proposal exception requests to Medical Underwriting and follow each through decision.
  • Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Solutions Consultants, HR Managers, and other SMEs to produce complete, competitive submissions.
  • Use AI tools ethically and effectively to improve productivity, decision-making, and proposal accuracy.
  • Complete deal administration tasks (workbook entries, DocuSign management, post-sale cases and tasks) and keep documentation error-free.
  • Raise blockers early, escalate appropriately, and keep Sales Managers informed of deal status.

Ideal Skills & Tools

  • Proven inside sales, broker desk, sales support, or account management experience.
  • Strong Salesforce experience and advanced Excel skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with senior decision-makers, brokers, and multi-stakeholder teams.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Familiarity with DocuSign or similar e-signature platforms.
  • Experience applying AI-assisted workflows or CRM automation to sales processes.
  • Effective collaborator across Sales, Underwriting, Implementation, Technology, Marketing, and Sales Operations.

Success Measures

  • Achievement of assigned sales quota, pipeline, and conversion goals.
  • Quantity of RFIs and proposals closed, including conversion of opportunities handed off by Sales Managers.
  • High-quality submissions with a target 99% clean underwriting submission ratio and 100% error-free DocuSign submissions.
  • Timely health pricing submissions (target: returned within 24–48 hours).
  • Accurate and up-to-date workbook and Salesforce records with no missed updates.
  • Measurable time savings for Sales Managers through strong administrative and deal-management support.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Primarily desk-based: ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive computer tasks.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Typical office environment is climate-controlled and quiet.
  • This role may be performed in a hybrid or remote setting depending on business needs and reasonable accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay range (non-exempt): $31.25 to $36.06 per hour. Actual pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and location.
  • Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, retirement plans with employer contributions, and professional development programs.
  • Additional employee resources and programs to support work-life balance and career growth.

Required Qualifications
