Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Inside Sales Representative I to support enterprise accounts and accelerate sales of in-building wireless and related solutions. This is an entry-level, quota-carrying inside-sales role focused on remote customer engagement, inbound lead response, targeted outbound prospecting, opportunity coordination, and conversion of projects through accurate estimates and proposals. The role is remote (telecommute) with occasional in-person visits as needed. This position reports to the Director of Sales and is incentive-eligible.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and deliver against an assigned sales quota, pipeline, services revenue targets, and daily activity goals while maintaining accurate forecasts and opportunity management.
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads and customer inquiries; qualify needs, timing, decision criteria, budget, and next steps.
  • Conduct targeted outbound prospecting and follow-up via phone, email, virtual meetings, and approved digital tools to build and reactivate pipeline.
  • Manage opportunities from qualification through close: coordinate customer requirements, design activities, estimates, proposals, approvals, and next steps.
  • Serve as the primary inside-sales coordinator between Enterprise customers, design partners, field and channel teams, applications engineering, customer service, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Gather and document complete project requirements, including building information, system objectives, timelines, design inputs, passive-component needs, services scope, commercial expectations, and required deliverables.
  • Run and coordinate project estimations, validate assumptions and scope, and support preparation of accurate, timely, and commercially competitive quotes and proposals.
  • Use consultative selling and disciplined virtual engagement to demonstrate solution value and guide customers to the scope that best meets their project needs.

Minimum Qualifications (YOU MUST HAVE)

  • 3 months of relevant experience from internships, co-op assignments, academic projects, customer service, sales support, business development, or similar entry-level activities; prior full‑time sales experience is not required.
  • At least 3 months of basic knowledge of sales principles and demonstrated interest in developing skills in inbound lead response, outbound prospecting, lead qualification, consultative selling, pipeline management, virtual customer engagement, and CRM-based follow-up.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Comfortable with digital sales tools and a willingness to learn CRM and sales-enablement applications.

Preferred Qualifications (WE VALUE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of inside or outside sales experience.
  • Exposure to telecommunications, in-building wireless, BDA/DAS solutions, RF systems, construction, electrical contracting, low-voltage systems, fire/life safety, or building technologies.
  • Experience supporting estimates, proposals, design workflows, project documentation, order coordination, or customer implementations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a quick learner for CRM and sales tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, curiosity, and the ability to coordinate multiple activities across sales stages.

Why Join Confidential Client

  • Incentive-eligible, quota-carrying role with clear career progression.
  • Medical, vision, dental, and mental health benefits (region-dependent).
  • Paid vacation and retirement/401(k) options (per regional policy).
  • Structured coaching, professional development, and defined career path into Inside Sales II, Channel Manager, Territory Sales Manager, or subject-matter-expert roles.
  • Opportunity to build skills in consultative selling, lead qualification, pipeline development, estimating, and services growth.
