What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Information Technology GIS Analyst I to support GIS and IT operations in Los Angeles, CA. Under supervision, you will gain hands-on experience with GIS systems, spatial data management, mapping, technical support, and basic data analysis to help maintain accurate geographic information and support user needs.
- Provide technology and GIS support by troubleshooting hardware, software, GIS applications, and related technical issues.
- Respond to customer questions and assist users in identifying practical, timely solutions.
- Contribute to GIS and technology projects as a team member—complete assigned tasks and coordinate activities.
- Maintain and enhance GIS data: enter, update, organize, validate, and process spatial and attribute information.
- Assist with GIS data processing and quality control: review data for completeness and accuracy and follow established procedures.
- Create maps, reports, and visual products that communicate geographic information to stakeholders.
- Perform research and other technical tasks to gather, organize, and present GIS- and IT-related information.
Schedule & Work Model
- Full-time (44/36 schedule). Start times are no earlier than 6:00 AM and end times no later than 6:00 PM.
- Hybrid work model: typically two days a week in person and other days remote (subject to organizational needs and policy updates).
Salary & Benefits
- Estimated salary: $86,862 per year (estimated).

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related Information Technology field.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without future employer-sponsored visa requirement (no H-1B sponsorship).
Preferred (helpful) experience or skills — not required but useful:
- Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial data workflows.
- Basic troubleshooting of desktop/laptop hardware and common software.
- Strong attention to detail for data validation and quality control.
- Good communication skills for supporting non-technical users.
