Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to support document control and classified material accountability at its Mckinney, TX facility. This onsite, entry-level professional contributor role requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance (must be U.S. citizen) and involves daily work with classified collateral areas, combinations management, and accountability systems. The position reports to the Document Control Lead and may coordinate with the Facility Security Officer (FSO).
What You’ll Do
- Support procedures for transmitting classified and proprietary materials in accordance with DoD policy and company procedures
- Manage audit and accountability of classified assets in internal systems of record
- Investigate security incidents and produce written reports for the FSO
- Maintain combinations for doors/safes and support secure handling and shipping of collateral classified material
- Provide day-to-day support to internal customers, including area custodian training updates and PIN/combo changes
- Assist with personnel security tasks on request (access lists, RCAST, PCL, visit requests)
- Perform courier responsibilities between local facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or advanced degree in a related field; typically up to 1 year prior relevant experience expected
- Valid driver’s license and ability to perform occasional local courier duties

- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Customer-facing experience and ability to multitask
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Team-oriented with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,200 — $108,800 USD (good-faith estimate across experience levels)
- Eligibility for benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(k) match, FSA/HSA, paid time off, parental leave, and other programs depending on business unit and employment status
- This position is not eligible for relocation assistance
