What You’ll Do

This entry-level Industrial / Continuous Improvement Engineer will work onsite in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment to identify process waste, implement Lean solutions, and measure operational improvements. Responsibilities include:

• Analyze warehouse and distribution processes to identify inefficiencies and capacity constraints
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Collect, analyze and visualize operational data to support decisions and improvements
• Drive Lean initiatives including 5S, Kanban, Visual Management, Standard Work and Kaizen events
• Write and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation
• Monitor KPIs (throughput, cycle time, accuracy, OTIF, etc.) and report improvement impact
• Support audits, process flow mapping, and continuous improvement projects
• Use ERP systems and reporting tools (Oracle experience a plus) to extract and present data
• Collaborate with operations, engineering and cross-functional teams to pilot and scale solutions

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Supply Chain, Operations Engineering or related field
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office tools
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment (PPE required, including steel‑toe shoes)

Preferred Experience

• Internship, co‑op or project experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, manufacturing, logistics or warehouse operations
• Hands-on exposure to Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, PDCA, 5 Whys)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and data-driven reporting or BI tools

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Fully onsite position in a warehouse/distribution center — regular time spent on the operations floor
• Fast-paced, hands-on environment with emphasis on safety and operational discipline
• PPE required (steel-toe footwear, safety glasses as required)
• May require standing, walking and interaction with material handling equipment

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour. Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
